Once a bustling port on the Ohio & Erie Canal, the Village now mixes the charm
and history of the 1800,s with fun & adventure for today. There is a “living
History Tour”, Enjoy lunch (included) as you reflect on the history surrounding
you. Climb aboard an authentic canal boat right in the center of town. Float
aboard the Monticello 111 down a restored portion of the Ohio and Erie Canal.
The historic buildings offer a glimpse into the daily life of the craftsman and
their families, the lessons of the one-room school, etc. Spend time at the
Festival, where artisans and crafters display the workmanship of daily life as
it was in the 1800’s. Enjoy the music of this era and listen to the tales of
life told by the interpretive staff. Included: One Luncheon, One Canal Boat Ride
gratuities.

Depart for a Brown bag tour of Western PA. At certain stops today you will
receive gifts for your brown bag. Starting in Grove City, PA and Wendell August
Forge. Est’d in 1923. They have pioneered the artistry of creating unique
hand-hammered metal giftware. Watch them create one-of-a-kind metal giftware in
aluminum, solid bronze fine pewter, and sterling silver. Slovak Folk Craft Shop
will be our next stop prior to enjoying lunch at NeShannock Creek Inn. We will
visit VOLANT, PA…sthe way things used to be. It is a unique village of quaint
shops and restaurants that has something for everyone. We will sample wine at
Volant Mill Winery. Stop at the Country House Christmas Shop. Next, you will
