The program was designed for seniors who live alone and would benefit from a daily telephone call to be sure everything is OK? In the event of an emergency a designated contact person or emergency service will be dispatched. The Ashtabula Senior Center’s “Telephone Reassurance” program was established for this need. To qualify, an interested individual simply telephones our office and asks to be placed on our call list. Telephone calls are made daily Monday through Friday by Ashtabula County Senior Center staff. This free service is open to all seniors residing in Ashtabula County, is not based on financial need and is operated in cooperation with the Senior AIDES Program.
